Move and Wine of the Weekend

Wow, it’s been about a month since I last posted. Why? Well, I have been fortunate to finally move my family from one beautiful location to another. We moved from the boonies to try our luck at city living. It’s been about 2 weeks and let me tell you…I LOVE LOVE LOVE the city living although I’m sure I’ve put on the poundage now that I am closer to all these wonderful little eateries. There is one just 3 doors down from us. Dear me.

Not only did we move to the city, we downsized considerably and went from a new home to a 1938 heritage home. I’m crossing my fingers it’s not haunted (because I’m superstitious like that). So far so good. We also decided to renovate right away and I think the joke is on me because the more I think about it, the more I think the basement reno is turning into a ‘man cave’. Our house is still not unpacked because of the renos and I’m impatient. Great mix. I will be sure and share some before and after pics.

Throughout this adventure, I can’t help but share with you my wine of this weekend. This one’s more on the full bodied side. I actually like it quite a bit and would buy it again.

Cheers to the weekend:)

Are you superstitious too?
